The company faithfully complies with domestic and international safety and health regulations, as well as international agreements, by establishing strict internal management standards to proactively respond to regulations.
Safety and health objectives are set, hazardous and risk factors are continuously identified and improved, and the performance of these efforts is evaluated through a well-maintained safety and health management system.
In the event of accidents or emergencies, active implementation of safety and health measures is carried out to minimize human and property damages, thereby maintaining a zero-accident workplace and promoting the health of all employees.

Operation of the Safety and
Health Management System
SeAH Changwon Special Steel obtained KOSHA-MS (Safety and Health Management System) certification from the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency in July 2000. To ensure employee safety, the top management declares a safety and health policy in its management principles and establishes (Plan) and implements (Do) safety and health activity execution plans. The results of implementation are inspected (Check), and corrective actions are reviewed and improved (Action) by the top management. Through the Plan-Do-Check-Action (PDCA) cycle, a comprehensive safety and health management system is established and operated.

Response to Climate Change
SeAH Changwon Special Steel is an eco-friendly company that produces steel by recycling iron scrap as a circulatory resource through an electric furnace process. Along with this, the company manages carbon emissions systematically, develops low-carbon products, recycles waste, improves energy efficiency, and uses renewable energy. Starting with a 12% reduction in carbon emissions by 2030 (compared to 2018 levels), the company is building a management system to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.
